A comforting autumn treat. Enjoy with a cup of tea, or as a simple dessert with our Chantilly cream recipe.




  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add butter, ground almonds and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min 30 sec, speed 6
  8. Then add egg and almond extract to the filling
  9. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 6
  10. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  11. Slice apple into a clean medium bowl with direct prep attachment
  12. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  13. Line a clean pie dish with shortcrust pastry
  14. Transfer filling to pastry
  15. Arrange fruit in pastry
  16. Sprinkle with brown sugar
  17. Bake - 45 min, 180°C
  18. Serve
