Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Salad

A light starter or side salad.
Ingredients
- 8 tomatoes
- 2 mozzarella balls
- 100g extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 bunch of basil
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Tools
- Thick Slicing Disc
- Food Processor
Method
- Attach the thick slicing disc to the food processor then slice the tomatoes.
- Drain the mozzarella then cut into slices.
- Place both into the serving bowl.
- Attach the knife blade to the food processor.
- Place the basil, oil and pepper into the food processor and process.
- Add the mixture to the serving bowl and mix well.
Chef’s tips: Store the tomatoes in the fridge prior to slicing. Store the finished salad in the fridge until needed, but remember to take the salad out of the fridge ½ an hour before serving.
