These spooky frankfurter mummies are simple and quick to make for your Halloween party. The pastry recipe given here does make more than you will need, but just wrap the excess in cling-film and store in the freezer until you require it.

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add all purpose flour, unsalted butter, salt and sugar to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 12
  6. Then add egg and milk to the dough
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 12
  8. Wrap with plastic wrap
  9. Chill in fridge - 20 min
  10. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  11. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  12. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  13. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  14. Cut into strips
  15. Add frankfurter sausage to the lightly floured surface
  16. Wrap
  17. Bake kCook bowl until light golden - 15 min, 190°C
  18. Let cool on round wire rack
  19. Decorate
  20. Serve
