Baking the herbs helps to dry them out and better infuse with the salt, adding a delicious herbaceous note to every recipe this flavoured salt is used in. It makes a perfect finishing salt for roasted chicken or sprinkled over hot, crispy chips, and makes a great gift any foodie will love. This will fill approx. 350ml jar.

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 120ºC
  2. Add the ingredients to a baking tray
  3. Bake until well dried out – 10 minutes, 120ºC
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool – 15 minutes
  5. Fit the Knife Blade to the Food Processor attachment
  6. Transfer the dried herbs into the attachment
  7. Chop – 1 minute
  8. Then add salt
  9. Mix until well combined – 2 minutes, speed 3
  10. Remove the attachment from the machine
  11. Transfer the mixture into a jar and seal tightly until needed
