Cauliflower Pizza Crust

A low carbohydrate pizza base made with cauliflower.
Ingredients
700g Cauliflower
1 Egg
50g Mozzarella Cheese
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ teaspoon Dried Basil
½ teaspoon Dried Oregano
Salt as needed
Black Pepper as needed

Baking tray - large
Food processor attachment
Frying pan- large
Large mixing bowl
Method
Pre-heat oven - 200°C
Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
Fit the knife blade to the Food Processor bowl
Add cauliflower to the Food processor attachment
Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
Pulse until fine crumbs form
Transfer content of Food processor attachment to frying pan
Sauté in frying pan - 8 min, medium heat
Transfer the cooked cauliflower onto a clean tea towel placed on the work surface
Let cool - 5 min
Once cool, bring together the ends of the tea towel, tightly wrapping the cooked cauliflower
Hold over a medium bowl, then squeeze as much liquid as possible out into the bowl
Unwrap the tea towel and transfer the cauliflower into a large mixing bowl
Add egg, garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, mozzarella cheese, salt and black pepper to a clean large mixing bowl
Stir until combined
Transfer mixture to baking tray and press down
Shape the base with your hands into a desired size
Bake - 15 min, 200°C
Turn the base over
Bake until firm - 5 min, 200°C
Remove from oven
Top with your chosen pizza toppings
Bake - 5 min, 200°C
