A vegetarian friendly burger made from beetroot. Serve in a burger bun, top with houmous and avocado, and serve with chips or a side salad.

    Method

    1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
    2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
    3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
    4. Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
    5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
    6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
    7. Heat with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
    8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
    9. Grate red onion into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
    10. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
    11. Cook with filler cap removed - 3 min, 120°C, speed 3
    12. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
    13. Grate fresh beet into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
    14. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
    15. Season
    16. Cook with filler cap removed - 3 min, 120°C, speed 3
    17. Then add red wine vinegar, canned black beans, brown rice and fresh parsley to the kCook bowl
    18. Blend with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 12
    19. Transfer content of kCook bowl to large glass bowl and let cool
    20. Shape into rounds and press down
    21. Add olive oil to a clean frying pan
    22. Heat - medium-high heat
    23. Transfer patties to frying pan
    24. Cook each side in frying pan until cooked through - approx 5 min
    25. Serve
