A great addition to your BBQ condiments this smoky bacon jam will elevate a burger to new levels! Give any extra as a gift or this will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks.

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add smoked lardons to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Cook with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 120°C, Stir 1
  5. Carefully pour out the excess liquid from the Cooking Chef bowl
  6. Cook with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 120°C, Stir 1
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the bacon and set aside
  8. Add onion and garlic clove to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  9. Cook with splashguard fitted then scrape bowl - 10 min, 120°C, Stir 1
  10. Then add light brown sugar, dried thyme, paprika, apple cider vinegar, whiskey and maple syrup to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  11. Cook with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 100°C, Stir 1
  12. Return the bacon into the Cooking Chef bowl
  13. Cook with splashguard fitted until thickened - 20 min, 120°C, Stir 2
  14. Then add salt and black pepper to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  15. Cook with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 120°C, Stir 2
  16. Serve
