Spicy Rice
A quick and versatile dish, use as a side dish to cooked chicken
Aromatic Rice

This fragrant twist on rice is great served with curries. Don't forget to remove the spices before serving.
Ingredients
- 25g Pistachios
- 600g Water
- 2 Cloves
- 4 Cardamom Pods
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 pinch Saffron Threads
- 175g Basmati Rice
- 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
- 1 tablespoon Lime Zest
- 55g Sultanas
Tools
- Wooden spoon
- kCook Multi
- Kcook bowl
Method
- Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
- Add water, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick and saffron threads to the kCook bowl
- Season
- Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
- Attach lid to kCook bowl
- Heat with filler cap removed - 98°C, speed 3
- Then add basmati rice to the kCook bowl
- Cook with filler cap removed - 10 min, 94°C, speed 3
- Then add lime juice, lime zest, sultanas and pistachios to the kCook bowl
- Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 94°C, speed 3
- Serve
