White Chocolate Shortbread

A sweet twist on the traditional biscuit, enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee for an afternoon treat.

  1. Line the baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Fit the K-Beater
  3. Add butter and sugar into the appliance bowl
  4. Mix – 2 minutes, speed Max
  5. Then add the ingredients
  6. Mix – 2 minutes, speed Max
  7. Then add white choocolate chips
  8. Mix – 2 minutes, speed Max
  9. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface
  10. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out until 1.5 cm thick
  11. Cut into rectangles and place them on the baking tray, spacing apart evenly
  12. Use a fork to make indentations along the biscuits
  13. Chill in the fridge – 30 minutes
  14. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  15. Place the chilled biscuits in the oven and bake until light golden – 13 minutes, 180ºC
  16. Remove from the oven and let cool
  17. Serve
