Sugared Almonds
Crunchy candied almonds with a hint of cinnamon. During the almond cooking phase, wait for the sugar to crystallize. Cook for longer if necessary. Cleaning tip: Boil water in Cooking Chef bowl to release sugar stuck at the bottom.
Ingredients
- 200g Caster Sugar
- 115g Water
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 200g Raw Almonds
- Salt as needed

- Parchment paper
- Cooking Chef XL
- Baking sheet - 18 x 13"
- Cooking chef xl bowl
Method
- Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
- Attach the Stir Tool
- Add caster sugar, water and ground cinnamon to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 8 min, 180°C, Stir 1
- Then add raw almonds to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted until dry - 2 min, 180°C, Stir 1
- Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to baking sheet
- Add salt to the baking sheet
- Mix until combined
- Set aside and let cool
- Serve
