This Fruit Tart is a wonderful and impressive addition to anyone's tea party.
Ingredients
6 Eggs
½ tablespoon Milk
Unsalted butter icon
100g Unsalted Butter
½ teaspoon Salt
75g Icing Sugar
250g All Purpose Flour
1 Egg
100g Caster Sugar
500g Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Mixed Berries as needed
Apricot Jam as needed
Tools

Oven
Parchment paper
Pastry brush
Plastic wrap

Tart pan - 9.5 x 1"
Small bowl
Work surface
Kcook bowl
Method
Add egg and milk to a clean small bowl
Mix then set aside
Fit max blade to kCook bowl
Add unsalted butter, salt, icing sugar and all purpose flour to the kCook bowl
Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
Blend with filler cap fitted until crumbs form - 15 sec, speed 9
Scrape
Blend - 5 sec, speed 9
Transfer egg mixture to kCook bowl
Blend with filler cap fitted until dough forms - 20 sec, speed 9
Transfer content of kCook bowl to work surface
Wrap with plastic wrap
Chill in fridge - 20 min
Pre-heat oven - 160°C
Roll out on lightly-floured surface until 1/8" (5mm) thick
Transfer pastry to tart pan
Prick
Chill in fridge - 15 min
Line with parchment paper
Fill with pie weights
Bake - 12 min, 160°C
Remove pie weights
Brush with egg
Bake until golden brown - 2 min, 160°C
Let cool
Clean kCook bowl
Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
Add egg, caster sugar and all purpose flour to the kCook bowl
Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
Attach lid to kCook bowl
Whisk with filler cap removed - 30 sec, speed 5
Whisk with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 8
Add milk and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl while machine is running
Cook with filler cap removed - 10 min, 98°C, speed 6
Let cool
Transfer content of kCook bowl to pastry
Chill in fridge - 20 min
Decorate with mixed berries
Brush with apricot jam
Serve
