These cute little rolls will go down great with your kids. You could even get them to help out by putting on the eyes and noses.

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  3. Add dried yeast and milk to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Heat with filler cap fitted - 2 min, 30°C, speed 5
  7. Then add bread flour, egg, sugar, salt and butter to the kCook bowl
  8. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 3 min, speed 10
  10. Remove midi blade from kCook bowl
  11. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 hr, 30°C
  12. Transfer content of kCook bowl to lightly floured surface
  13. Divide into halves with dough scraper
  14. Roll into logs
  15. Divide into pieces with dough scraper
  16. Roll into balls
  17. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet
  18. Cut with scissors
  19. Add poppy seeds to the baking sheet
  20. Cover with kitchen towel
  21. Prove until doubled - approx 1 hr
  22. Brush with egg
  23. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  24. Let cool
  25. Serve
