Serve these scones as part of an afternoon tea or picnic, with butter or tomato chutney.

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  4. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  5. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  6. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, unsalted butter and salt to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 8
  10. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  11. Grate manchego cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  12. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  13. Add chorizo to the kCook bowl
  14. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 8
  15. Then add milk to the kCook bowl
  16. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 8
  17. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  18. Knead slightly
  19. Roll out until 1" thick
  20. Cut into rounds
  21. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  22. Brush with milk
  23. Sprinkle with manchego cheese
  24. Bake until light golden - 15 min, 200°C
  25. Remove from oven and let cool
  26. Serve
