You really don't need to add the sugar. We never have. Also we add a gulumph of olive oil which is probably more than the tablespoon here.
Pizza dough is simple to make, but using a bread machine makes it very quick and easy. I sometimes leave the dough to rise again - not sure if that's necessary, but either way it makes a very tasty pizza. Not all breadmachines use number 8 for pizza (mine is 13), so check before you set the machine.
I have a Kenwood breadmaker and have tried various recipes over the years. I was very impressed with this one, good consistancy, rose well, crisp and delicious. The only one I have ever saved :)
This recipe makes a lovely base, just like in a restaurant - delicious!
