Whipped Whole Orange, Basil and Sundried Tomato Butter by Conor Spacey

Showcasing how simple it is to make lovely, flavoured butters in a food processor. You can also use the orange skins to make a dressing.
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 1 whole orange
- shredded basil leaves
- 1 tbsp finely chopped sundried tomato

Method
- Take 100g of butter from the fridge for an hour to soften. If possible, use unsalted butter.
- Add a whole orange to your Kenwood compact blender and blend into a paste, then add your sundried tomatoes and blend until combined; blend in your butter and basil leaves.
- Put the flavoured butter onto a square of baking parchment, roll it around to form a sausage shape, and then close the ends to seal.
- The butter can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or up to a month in the freezer.
