A simple and delicious upside down cake.

  1. Pre-heat oven - 170°C
  2. Grease a clean round pan
  3. Line with parchment paper
  4. Add apple and lemon juice to a clean medium bowl
  5. Stir with tablespoon then set aside
  6. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  7. Add maple syrup and salted butter to the kCook bowl
  8. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  9. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  10. Heat with filler cap removed - 70°C, speed 3
  11. Heat with filler cap removed - 90°C, speed 1
  12. Pour content of kCook bowl into round pan carefully
  13. Add walnuts to the round pan
  14. Arrange content of medium bowl in round pan then set aside
  15. Clean kCook bowl
  16. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  17. Add unsalted butter and golden caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  18. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  19. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  20. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 7
  21. Then add egg to the kCook bowl
  22. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7
  23. Then add plain flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract and ground almonds to the kCook bowl
  24. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 6
  25. Scrape
  26. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 6
  27. Spoon content of kCook bowl into round pan
  28. Spread evenly
  29. Bake - 45 min, 170°C
  30. Let cool - approx 10 min
  31. Turn out content of round pan onto serving plate
  32. Serve
