Tomatoes are the most popular food grown at home; we love them. Conor’s tomato and chilli chutney is a great way to get the most from your harvest, tastes excellent and is simple to do. Perfect slathered in a sandwich for a fragrant kick

Method

  1. Place all of your ingredients into a large, heavy-based pan and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  2. Slowly simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Using your Kenwood blender, blend all of the ingredients to combine but not too smooth.
  4. Pour it back into your pot and slowly bring it back to the boil, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place into a jar and leave to cool, then put into your fridge. It'll keep for two months.
