This is a great recipe for dinner or lunch boxes. Have your child help by mixing and, of course, tasting!

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  4. Grease and line a clean square pan with parchment paper
  5. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  6. Add sweet potato and water to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  9. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 90°C, speed 1
  10. Drain sweet potatoes into colander and let cool
  11. Place a large bowl underneath the Direct Prep attachment
  12. Retrieve the cooled potatoes
  13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  14. Grate
  15. Clean kCook bowl
  16. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  17. Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
  18. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  19. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  20. Heat with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
  21. Then add onion to the kCook bowl
  22. Cook with filler cap removed - 7 min, 120°C, speed 3
  23. Add cooked ham, fresh chives and cheddar cheese to a clean bowl
  24. Add the grated potatoes into the bowl
  25. Transfer content of kCook bowl to bowl
  26. Mix until combined
  27. Add egg, salt and black pepper to the bowl
  28. Mix until combined
  29. Transfer mixture to square pan
  30. Bake - 30 min, 180°C
  31. Remove from oven
  32. Let cool slightly
  33. Serve
