Strawberry Confiture

A tasty strawberry jam perfect for a sponge cake, to top scones or simply on toast.
Ingredients
- 750g Strawberries
- 750g Jam Sugar
- 6 tablespoons Pectin
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

- Cooking chef xl bowl

Method
- Attach the Stir Tool
- Add jam sugar and pectin to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
- Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
- Then add strawberries to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Min
- Let rest - 10 min
- Cook with splashguard fitted until thickened then scrape bowl - 40 min, 110°C, Stir 1
- Then add lemon juice to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Stir 1
- Carefully remove the splash guard to allow the steam escape and let cool
- Pour jam into jar carefully
- Chill in fridge until needed
