Stem ginger in syrup is the root of ginger cooked in sugar until soft. Chop finely and add to ginger cakes, puddings or biscuits for a real ginger hit. The syrup makes a delicious ginger cordial.

  1. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  2. Add ginger and water to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Cook with filler cap fitted - 2 hr, 98°C, speed 3
  6. Then add water and sugar to the kCook bowl
  7. Stir with filler cap fitted - 3 min, 98°C, speed 5
  8. Cook with filler cap fitted - 1 hr, 94°C, speed 1
  9. Pour content of kCook bowl into jar
  10. Let cool
  11. Use
