Squid in American Sauce

A delicious addition to any tapas spread, this dish is made using squid rings cooked in a tasty tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 250g Onion
- 750g Squid
- 20ml Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 300ml Passata
- 100ml Brandy
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
- Attach the Stir Tool and Stir Assist Clip
- Add olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
- Heat with splashguard fitted - 1 min, 140°C, Stir 1
- Then add garlic clove and onion to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 4 min, 130°C, Stir 1
- Then add Passata, brandy, sugar and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 4 min, 140°C, Stir 3
- Then add squid and black pepper to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 30 min, 100°C, Stir 3
- Serve
