Spiced BBQ Lamb Leg

Try cooking this leg of lamb marinated with spices and lemon. This is an easy, flavourful dish to serve at a BBQ or dinner party. For this recipe, the lamb is cooked in the oven, however, you can finish it on a hot BBQ for that smoky flavour.

  1. Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
  2. Fit the knife blade to the Food Processor bowl
  3. Add butter, olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, fresh thyme, garlic clove, lemon and harissa to the Food processor attachment
  4. Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
  5. Blitz until combined
  6. Remove the attachment from the machine
  7. Add lamb leg to a clean large roasting dish
  8. Rub marinade onto lamb
  9. Cover with plastic wrap
  10. Marinate in fridge - 1 hr
  11. Add coriander, harissa and greek yogurt to a clean medium bowl
  12. Mix until combined
  13. Refrigerate in fridge until needed
  14. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  15. Remove the roasting dish from the fridge and remove the plastic wrap
  16. Cover loosely with foil
  17. Bake - 50 min, 180°C
  18. Remove the foil
  19. Bake until cooked through - 20 min, 180°C
  20. Remove from oven
  21. Cover with foil then set aside - 10 min
  22. Serve
