These delightfully spooky breadsticks will be a real treat for Halloween, great served with tomato salsa or your own favourite dip. The dough is shaped around greased chopsticks, sprinkled with poppy seeds and decorated with small pieces of olive to make the eyes. Bake and then allow the bread to cool slightly before carefully removing the chopsticks.

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add dried yeast and water to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  5. Heat with filler cap removed - 2 min, 30°C, speed 5
  6. Then add olive oil, all purpose flour and salt to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap removed - 15 sec, speed 7
  8. Mix with filler cap removed - 3 min, speed 10
  9. Remove midi blade from kCook bowl
  10. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 hr, 30°C
  11. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  12. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
  13. Transfer content of kCook bowl to lightly floured surface
  14. Knead into a ball
  15. Roll out into a rectangle
  16. Cut into strips
  17. Roll into logs
  18. Transfer dough to baking sheet
  19. Shape
  20. Brush with olive oil
  21. Decorate with poppy seeds and black olives
  22. Bake - 10 min, 220°C
  23. Let cool slightly
  24. Serve
