Salted Caramel Popcorn Squares

This sweet and salty treat can be made in advance of when you need them. They are a great treat for children and adults alike.

Method

  1. Line a clean square pan with parchment paper
  2. Attach K Beater
  3. Add salted popcorn, rice krispies and pretzels to the Kenwood Bowl
  4. Add caster sugar and water to a clean saucepan
  5. Heat until sugar has dissolved without stirring - medium heat
  6. Heat until golden brown - high heat
  7. Remove and turn off heat
  8. Add double cream and mini marshmallows to the saucepan
  9. Stir until melted
  10. Transfer content of saucepan to Kenwood Bowl
  11. Mix - 1 min, Speed Min
  12. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to square pan
  13. Use a piece of parchment paper to pat down and level the popcorn mixture
  14. Drizzle with dark chocolate
  15. Chill in fridge - approx 2 hr
  16. Cut into squares
  17. Serve
