Quick Flat Breads

This recipe requires no yeast and no lengthy proving time to make quick and delicious flatbreads which are cooked on a griddle pan. To add flavour, you could add a handful of black onion seeds into the recipe or brush the cooked flatbreads with melted garlic and herb butter.

  1. Attach Dough Tool
  2. Add plain flour, baking powder and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed 1
  4. Then add natural yogurt and olive oil to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted - 5 min, Speed 1
  6. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to lightly floured surface
  7. Divide into 4 equal pieces
  8. Roll out each piece of dough out into an oval shape until about 1cm thick
  9. Add olive oil to a clean frying pan
  10. Brush until coated
  11. Heat - medium-high heat
  12. Transfer shaped dough to frying pan
  13. Cook each side until bubbles form - approx 13 min
  14. Repeat with the rest
  15. Serve
