This is a slow cook recipe for which you simply need to add all of the ingredients and leave to cook for eight hours. Serve in brioche buns with Cajun slaw and a side of potato wedges, or use as a filling for individual pies or as a pizza topping.

  1. Fit slow cook plug to kCook bowl
  2. Add pork shoulder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic clove, worcestershire sauce, bourbon, apple cider vinegar and water to the kCook bowl
  3. Stir until coated
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Cook with filler cap fitted - 8 hr, 98°C
  7. Transfer meat to cutting board
  8. Shred into pieces
  9. Transfer meat to medium bowl
  10. Transfer one third of content of kCook bowl to medium bowl
  11. Mix until combined
  12. Serve
