Crispy Swiss-style potato pancake, grated and pan-fried to golden perfection.

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes
  2. Attach either one of the below to your machine;
    • Food processor with thick grating disc
    • Continuous slicer/grater with the thick grating disc
    • Rotary slicer/grater with the thick grating drum
  3. Grate the potato and set aside in a bowl.
  4. Add the cornflour, butter, salt and pepper and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  5. Shape into flat round discs approximately 8cm in diameter and 2cm tall (the mixture should make 4).
  6. Heat a pan with a little butter and fry gently for about 4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
