This pickled cabbage is delicious served alongside a cheese platter and even better stuffed inside a pita with salad and kebab meat. Decorate the jars with ribbons and give them as a gift for pickle-lovers. This recipe makes enough for 4 x 500 ml jars. Make sure your jars are sterilised by running them through a dishwasher or rinsing them with boiling water before drying them in the oven at a very low temperature.
