Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Bars

A classic flavour combination in a chocolate bar. Try making these chocolate bars for parties or gifts. We’ve used a bar mould measuring 6cm x 13cm and about 7mm deep.

Method

  1. Fit the Creaming Beater
  2. Add 360 g of chocolate into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  3. Heat until melted - 10 minutes, heat setting 6, speed Stir 3
  4. Then add the rest of chocolate
  5. Mix – 3 minutes, speed Stir 2
  6. Heat – 2 minutes, heat setting 2, speed Stir 2
  7. Coat the mould with a layer of chocolate
  8. Chill in the fridge until set
  9. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter into the moulds
  10. Cover with another layer of chocolate
  11. Shake the mould to level the chocolate
  12. Chill in the fridge until solidified – 30 minutes
  13. Remove the chocolate bars from the moulds and trim any excess chocolate if necessary
  14. Serve
