This onion chutney uses a mixture of red and white onions, cooked with balsamic vinegar and brown sugar for a rich flavour.

  1. Sterilize a clean jar
  2. Attach the Stir Tool
  3. Add butter and garlic clove to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Cook with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 95°C, Stir 1
  6. Then add red onion and white onion to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 120°C, Stir 1
  8. Then add balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  9. Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 120°C, Stir 1
  10. Scrape
  11. Add brown sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Cook with splashguard fitted - 25 min, 104°C, Stir 1
  13. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to jar
  14. Let cool
  15. Serve
