Onion Chutney

This onion chutney uses a mixture of red and white onions, cooked with balsamic vinegar and brown sugar for a rich flavour.
Ingredients
- 350g Red Onion
- 250g White Onion
- 50g Butter
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 4 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 150g Brown Sugar

Method
- Sterilize a clean jar
- Attach the Stir Tool
- Add butter and garlic clove to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 95°C, Stir 1
- Then add red onion and white onion to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 120°C, Stir 1
- Then add balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 120°C, Stir 1
- Scrape
- Add brown sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Cook with splashguard fitted - 25 min, 104°C, Stir 1
- Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to jar
- Let cool
- Serve
