Mornay Sauce is a classic French sauce which goes well with salmon but also with chicken or pork.

  1. Fit extra fine grating disc (1) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add olive oil and butter to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 min 15 sec, 80°C
  8. Then add all purpose flour to the kCook bowl
  9. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 104°C, speed 6
  10. Then add milk and dijon mustard to the kCook bowl
  11. Cook with filler cap removed - 15 min, 98°C, speed 6
  12. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  13. Grate cheddar cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  14. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  15. Whisk with filler cap removed - 1 min 30 sec, 62°C, speed 4
  16. Season to taste
  17. Serve
