Marzipan

This homemade marzipan is great for covering cakes or as a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 160g Caster Sugar
- 160g Ground Almonds
- 35ml Water
- 100g Icing Sugar
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 2 tablespoons Icing Sugar

- kCook Multi
- Kcook bowl
- Work surface
Method
- Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
- Add caster sugar, ground almonds, water and icing sugar to the kCook bowl
- Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
- Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
- Blend with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 10
- Then add egg yolk to the kCook bowl
- Blend with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 10
- Dust a clean work surface with icing sugar
- Knead
- Roll into a ball
- Wrap with plastic wrap
- Chill in fridge
