Lemonade Scones

Serve these scones with lemon curd and clotted cream. Children with an interest in baking will love helping to roll out and cut out the scones.

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  2. Flour a clean baking tray
  3. Attach Dough Hook
  4. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, caster sugar, butter, lemon, whipping cream and lemonade to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 2 min, Speed 1
  6. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  7. Roll out until 2.5 cm thick
  8. Cut out 5 cm rounds
  9. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  10. Brush with egg
  11. Bake - 18 min, 220°C
  12. Remove from oven and let cool
  13. Serve
