Jerk Chicken is very simple and a very tasty recipe. The spicy and smoky dish is made by combining ingredients and cooking in a baking tray. The aroma can make your mouth water. Try the recipe out with rice!
Ingredients
- Whole Chicken - Broken Down Into All Its Parts
- Spring Onion - 1 Bunch
- Ginger - 1 Thumb Sized Piece
- Garlic - 4 Cloves
- Scotch Bonnets - 2
- Lime - Juiced
- Brown Sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Molasses - 1 Tbsp
- Allspice - 1 Tbsp
- Onion Powder - 1 Tbsp
- Soy Sauce - 1 Tbsp
- Olive Oil - 2-3 Tbsp
- Thyme - 1 Bunch
- Salt - 2 Tbsp

Method
- Mix everything together in a bowl then add the chicken and allow to marinade overnight.
- Cook in a baking tray, skin side up at 180 fan for 45 mins.
