Gnocchi
Ingredients
- 800g Potato
- 1kg Water
- 400g All Purpose Flour
- 1 Egg
- 20g Parmesan Cheese
- Water as needed
Tools
- kCook Multi
- Saucepan
- Colander
- Kcook bowl
- Lightly floured surface
Method
- Fit extra fine grating disc (1) to direct prep attachment
- Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
- Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
- Add potato and water to the kCook bowl
- Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
- Attach lid to kCook bowl
- Cook with filler cap removed - 25 min, 94°C, speed 2
- Drain
- Transfer potatoes back into the kCook bowl
- Stir with filler cap fitted - 3 min, speed 6
- Then add all purpose flour and egg to the kCook bowl
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
- Grate parmesan cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
- Season
- Stir with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 6
- Let cool until cold
- Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
- Roll into a log until 1" thick
- Cut into pieces
- Press gently
- Add water to a clean saucepan
- Heat until just boiling
- Transfer pasta to saucepan carefully
- Cook - approx 4 min
- Serve
