Double Chocolate Ice Cream

This delicious ice cream takes a bit longer to make but is well worth the wait. If you have an ice cream attachment you can use that instead.




  1. Attach K Beater
  2. Add dark chocolate to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Add water, milk, caster sugar and cocoa powder to a clean saucepan
  4. Heat until boiling then reduce heat - medium heat
  5. Simmer - 2 min
  6. Pour content of saucepan into Kenwood Bowl while machine is running
  7. Mix - 2 min, Speed 1
  8. Transfer chocolate mixture to plastic container and cover
  9. Chill in fridge - 2 hr
  10. Freeze - 1 hr
  11. Mix well
  12. Repeat this every 30 minutes for 3 hours or the mixture is set
  13. Serve
