Chocolate and Banana Baked Oats

This recipe is a great way to use up any over-ripe bananas, paired with chocolate, oats, and maple syrup, for a delicious snack full of fruit and fibre. These oats can be served warm or allowed to cool completely and packed into a lunchbox for something sweet on the go.

  1. Preheat the oven to 190ºC
  2. Grease the baking dish with 1 Tbsp of coconut oil
  3. Fit the K-Beater
  4. Add bananas into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  5. Mix - 2 minutes, speed Min
  6. Mix - 1 minute, speed 1 and then reduce the speed
  7. While the machine is running, slowly pour milk into the appliance bowl
  8. Mix until combined – 30 seconds, speed Min
  9. Then add the ingredients
  10. Mix – 1 minute, speed Min
  11. Add the ingredients
  12. Mix until combined – 2 minutes, speed Min
  13. Pour the mixture into the baking dish
  14. Top with sliced bananas evenly
  15. Bake – 45 minutes, 190ºC
  16. Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup
  17. Let cool – 10 minutes and then divide into 9 portions
  18. Serve with a dollop of yoghurt
