Cherry Scones

This recipe is a fruity twist on the classic afternoon treat. Serve with plenty of clotted cream and jam or warm with butter.




    1. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
    2. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
    3. Add caster sugar, butter, buttermilk, milk, all purpose flour, baking powder and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl
    4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
    5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
    6. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 12
    7. Then add glace cherries to the dough
    8. Stir with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 10
    9. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
    10. Transfer dough to work surface
    11. Roll until 1" thick
    12. Cut out into rounds
    13. Brush with milk
    14. Bake - 12 min, 220°C
    15. Let cool on round wire rack until warm to the touch
    16. Serve
