This tart, zesty take on the Singapore Sling is the perfect easy cocktail for your next dinner party. With a homemade cherry syrup, plenty of fresh lime juice and a good helping of gin, it makes the perfect refreshing palate cleanser between courses, and can even be served without the alcohol for a delicious mocktail.




  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add frozen cherries, lemon, orange, water and sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Cook with splashguard fitted - 30 min, 110°C, Stir 2
  5. Strain mixture into large mixing bowl through a sieve
  6. Set aside and let cool - 30 min
  7. Add ice, gin, orange liqueur, angostura bitters and lime juice to a clean jug
  8. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to jug
  9. Stir until combined
  10. Add ice to the clean drinking glasses
  11. Divide content of jug between 8 drinking glasses
  12. Top with sparkling mineral water
  13. Garnish with lime and maraschino cherries
  14. Serve
