Champagne Poached Pears

A wonderful, luxurious dessert that will please at any dinner party. The pears can be kept refrigerated in their poaching liquid for up to three days.




Before you begin

  1. Zest the lemon and orange.
  2. Peel the pear but keep the steam attached.

Getting started

  1. Fit the Stir Tool to the CookEasy+ Bowl.
  2. Fit the kCook Bowl to the machine.

Ready to Cook 

Stage 1

  1. Add sugar, champagne, water zest, cinnamon into the CookEasy+ bowl.
  2. Attach the lid and ensure the Filler cap is NOT fitted. 
  3. Cook for 3 minutes, at 94°C on speed 3.

Stage 2 

  1. Remove the stir tool.
  2. Add the pears into the CookEasy+ bowl – try to stand them up.
  3. Cook for 25 minutes at 94°C.
  4. Serve.
