Basil Pesto

Pesto is not only great with pasta it can be used in a variety of ways; try adding it to cheese toasties, pizzas or stirring into mayonnaise or salad dressing. You can keep this pesto for several days in the fridge in an airtight container.
Ingredients
- 120g Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 50g Pine Nuts
- 50g Parmesan Cheese
- 1 pinch Salt & Pepper
- 150g Olive Oil

- Kcook bowl
Method
- Fit extra fine grating disc (1) to direct prep attachment
- Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
- Fit max blade to kCook bowl
- Add fresh basil leaves, garlic clove and pine nuts to the kCook bowl
- Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
- Grate parmesan cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
- Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
- Add salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
- Attach lid to kCook bowl
- Blend with filler cap removed and continue - 1 min, speed 10
- Add olive oil to the kCook bowl slowly while machine is running
- Transfer content of kCook bowl to jar
- Store in fridge
