These elegant biscuits are known for their distinctive curved shape, which is obtained by placing the tuiles on a rounded item, such as a rolling pin. Serve them alongside any dessert or ice cream, or simply enjoy them on their own.

    Method

    1. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
    2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
    3. Attach Whisk
    4. Add egg white, caster sugar, all purpose flour and butter to the Kenwood Bowl
    5. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 1
    6. Spoon mixture into baking tray bit by bit
    7. Smooth out into a thin circle about 8 cm in diameter using the back of the teaspoon
    8. Sprinkle with flaked almonds
    9. Bake until light golden - 6 min, 190°C
    10. Remove from oven and let cool - 1 min
    11. Lift gently with a palette knife and lay over a rolling pin to form a curved shape
    12. Transfer biscuits to cooling rack and let cool
    13. Serve
