This depends for how long, and on the condition of the Chef or Major when it was last used. Without the benefit of inspection it is impossible to say for certain.
If you run the motor and it sounds ok, it may be fine, but for very old machines try lower quantities first. Finally, your Chef could be anything up to 65 years old.
