My creaming beater and spatula has discoloured. Why is this?

Colourful spices such as turmeric and saffron can stain plastic and silicone. Your creaming beater comes with a black and grey silicone fin. We recommend using the black for savoury and the grey for sweet foods. This avoids flavour contamination and the staining cannot be seen on the black silicone.
