How do I remove the top outlet cover on my Chef/ Major?

The cover lifts off entirely. There are no hinges or fixings. If your Chef is new it may be a little stiff to remove initially. Simply lever one side with a spatula, spoon or similar and the rest of the outlet cover should release with ease.
