Pancakes with maple syrup are the perfect breakfast treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Maple syrup
Butter
Icing sugar to dust

Method

  1. Attach the K beater and pour the milk, oil and eggs into the bowl and mix togetheron a medium speed.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, soda and sugar to the bowl mix gently until everything is just combined. It should still be a little lumpy.
  3. Heat a flat pan with a little oil and spoon in enough batter to make an 8cm pancake. Cook for a couple of minutes until bubbles start toappear on the surface.
  4. Flip over with a spatula and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  5. Serve a few piled up on plate with a drizzle of maple syrup and butter (or fresh fruit) then dust with icing sugar.
