Caribbean Tea Bread

Can be made with these products:


50g butter, melted
170ml milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
280g plain flour 
1 tbsp baking powder
salt, pinch
115g caster sugar
25g desiccated coconut
75g ready to eat, dried tropical fruits, coarsely chopped

Time 1 hour 22 minutes
1 large loaf


  1. Add the melted butter, milk and eggs to the bread pan.
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir in tropical fruits. Add all the ingredients to the pan.
  3. Insert and lock the bread pan into the machine.
  4. Select program 8.
  5. After 6 minutes mixing, scrape down with a plastic spatula to ensure all the ingredients are incorporated.

tsp = 5ml teaspoon
tbsp = 15ml tablespoon
