Cherry Clafoutis

Cherry Clafoutis is a baked dessert that is made by baking cherries in a custard-like batter similar to pancake batter. Serve cold or reheat it to serve warm with cream.

Ingredients

300 g cherries, pitted
3  egg
70 g sugar
70 g flour
0.5 tsp. vanilla extract
  salt, to taste
0.5 tsp. baking powder
300 ml milk


Instructions

STEP 1/3

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Grease the baking dish with butter.

Fit the K-Beater to the machine.

STEP 2/3

Add cherries into the prepared baking dish.

Add eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, salt and baking powder into the Mixer bowl, fit the splashguard.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine.

Mix on medium speed until the mixture becomes pale.

While the machine is running, gradually add the milk into the Mixer bowl.

Mix on low speed until a smooth batter forms.

Pour the mixture over the cherries.

Bake at 180ºC for 30-40 minutes.

STEP 3/3

Remove from the oven and let cool.

 

To serve

Serve with cream.
