250g Jumbo oats
125g Light brown sugar
125g Butter (melted)
2 tbsp Golden syrup
1 - Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a square tin with greaseproof paper.
2 - To prepare, set up the MultiPro Compact+ food processor bowl with the knife blade.
3 - Press ‘ON/ZERO’ button to turn on the weighing function. The scales should automatically be set to zero (to set to zero, press the ON/ZERO button again).
4 - Weigh the jumbo oats and light brown sugar directly in the food processor bowl (you can ‘zero’ between each ingredient). Add the melted butter and golden syrup.
5 - Once all the ingredients are in the bowl and the lid is in place, pulse for 20 seconds and then set to Speed 1 until the ingredients fully combine.
6 - Pour the mixture into the square tin and level with a spatula.
7 - Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
8 - Once cooled, cut into slices and serve. The breakfast bars taste delicious on their own, or alternatively, serve with your chosen fresh fruit and yoghurt as desired.
