Vegetable Chips

Make your own colourful and tasty vegetable chips. The kids will love it. To make sure the vegetables are crunchy, add them little by little to the oil.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
Makes: 1

180 g potato, peeled, cut to fit the feed tube
140 g carrot, peeled, cut to fit the feed tube
125 g beetroot, peeled, cut to fit the feed tube
200 g sweet potato, peeled, cut to fit the feed tube


300 ml peanut oil


  sea salt, to taste


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Line a large plate with paper towels and set aside

Assemble the Direct Prep attachment with the slicing disc, then attach to the CookEasy+ and turn it to position 2

Fit the fine slicing disc to the CookEasy+ Bowl

Fit the CookEasy+ Bowl to the machine

STEP 2/4

Slice Ingredients 1 (potato, carrots, beetroots, sweet poatoes) into the CookEasy+ bowl

Wipe the sliced vegetables dry to remove the starch

STEP 3/4

Add Ingredients 2 (peanut oil) into the CookEasy+ bowl

Do not attach the lid

Set the temperature to 180ºC, on speed off and press the CONTROL Dial

Wait 2 minutes for the CookEasy+ bowl to heat up

Carefully add a few slices of vegetables into the CookEasy+ bowl

Cook at 180ºC for a few minutes until the vegetables are golden

Remove the vegetable chips with a skimmer and place them on the plate lined with a paper towel

Drizzle with sea salt
